After comparing the sales numbers of our first five releases and the money that we actually got, we decided to change something.

We are a small label, and we really don’t do this for the money, but to release quality music.
But when we release something, Beatport already takes 60% of the profit just for putting it online. Yes, it’s the biggest online store for music downloads, but it’s still not right, we want to give 50% of the profit to the artists, and we have to pay for promotion of the releases, but the way it is right now, we just pay, and don’t get anything back.

It really shouldnt be that way, and we believe that most people who’re buying our music on beatport, buy it because they already know us, not because they found us on beatport (cause its impossible to find us there unless you actually type in the name and search).

Our releases will still be available on Beatport, just in case someone is looking for them there, but from now on all releases will be online at our bandcamp page first, four weeks before they show up on beatport AND for a cheaper price.
